Hosted by the Detroit Regional Chamber, the iconic Mackinac Policy Conference is held each spring to focus on critical regional issues of education, business and policy.
Detroit PBS will produce a one hour wrap up of the 3-day conference, including stage sessions and in-depth interviews with leading statewide business leaders. The 2026 Conference will focus on “A Quest for Common Ground” urging leaders to rise above divisiveness and champion pragmatic solutions that respond to Michiganders’ clear demand for meaningful action and tangible results.
By bringing together local and national voices from across the spectrum, the Conference promises a civil, productive exchange, highlighting Michigan’s unique potential to unite differing perspectives and tackle complex challenges collaboratively.
