Conversations Building Understanding

About Civil Conversations

Civil conversation can deepen understanding and strengthen relationships. Through a grant from the Fetzer Institute, and in our role as a community convenor, WGVU is partnering with Fetzer, Reunited States, and Living Room Conversations to provide resources useful in guiding dialog about issues important in our lives.

We invite you to explore these resources by engaging others in conversation with the goal of sharing stories that help to shape our beliefs. Living Room Conversations offers a simple, sociable, and structured way to practice communicating across differences while building understanding and relationships. Rather than debating or convincing others, we take turns talking to share, learn, and be curious.
