Local Trauma Resource Center Re-Launches Workshops

Press releasesGrand Rapids, MI — The Body Mind Being Institute (BMBI) is relaunching their program offerings next
week, Sept. 23, starting with the much-loved Being Grace online training this Wednesday. BMBI offers a
unique approach to treating stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD and more through trauma-informed yoga
practice. This method looks to the relationship between the mind and body to foster holistic healing.
The 10-week Being Grace program will be taught every Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
through Nov 25. Find the sign up on the BMBI website or visit schedulicity.com/scheduling/GRHJQZ .
The training is the perfect way to learn new skills addressing the struggles that are frequent during this
tumultuous time. Each session focuses on helping people struggling with chronic stress, fear, sadness,
anxiety, addiction and trauma. Being Grace will be taught by BMBI’s owner and founder, Raechel
Morrow and offers lessons on grounding, reconnection, awareness, compassion and empowerment for
each participant.
Unlike yoga studios, which focus only on physical health outcomes, BMBI seeks to develop whole-person
wellness from the inside out. This approach allows teachers with a background in counseling and social
work to help participants uncover memories of difficult experience and then relieve symptoms.
Mind-body exercises can help to release tension that is negatively affecting your physical and emotional
wellbeing. If you or someone you know is interested in joining this incredible journey, visit the BMBI
online and sign up on the Being Grace page .
“Being Grace was born out of a deep understanding about the trauma that exists in the world we are
living in today,” shares founder Raechel Morrow. “Your chronic stress, fear, sadness, anxiety, addiction
and trauma response are your body’s emotional systems communicating that your fundamental needs
are not being met. We have no idea how to ‘be,’ to fully be in our bodies, be with our emotions
without getting entangled by them, and free ourselves from the constant narratives in our minds.”
