Help 350 of your neighbors right now...

These are unprecedented times as our nation and world combat the COVID-19 virus. This is a situation most of us never envisioned we would be in, but here we are.

At North Kent Connect, we have had to close our building to clients and the public. However, we are providing healthy, fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy and non-perishable items to more than 350 people each week with our drive-up food distribution. North Kent Connect, along with our partner pantries, is the only resource center doing emergency food service in northern Kent County.

Inside, our work continues. Our case managers man the phones and field mental health, job related, utilities assistance, and housing challenges. Every day, 5-10 new people call us to become clients. Many are from service industries and are now unable to work due to the pandemic. And these numbers are increasing daily.

We WILL overcome this, but our current resources are strained. Today, we ask you to give a monetary gift so we may continue to provide essential needs to those most vulnerable in our community. Please visit our website to make an online donation. (PLEASE BE SURE TO TYPE "AS NEEDED" IN THE DESCRIPTION FIELD.)

We are blessed and grateful for the generous community who always comes through for us in times of need.

May God keep you and your families safe.
