The Great Wine and Food Symposium

Support your local community while sipping wine. The Great Food and Wine Symposium is an all-inclusive night of eclectic flavors from hundreds of wine, beer, and food samples, accompanied by live jazz from Michigan artists, Djangophonique. Enjoy the premiere wine-tasting event of the season in partnership with D&W Fresh Market, which helps fund over 50 hours of local jazz programming weekly on WGVU FM.

Tickets are $75 in advance and $65 for WGVU members.

About the Event:

When: Friday, March 3rd, 2023. 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Where: Grand Rapids Public Museum. 272 Pearl St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

What: Admission to this 21 and up event grants all-inclusive access to an expansive selection of wines, beers, and gourmet foods, plus live music by special performing guests, Djangophonique. All ticket sales directly support WGVU as they celebrate 50 years of public service through community media.

Do I have to be 21+ to attend?
Attendees must be 21 or older with valid ID to attend.

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the buyer. 

Will a coat check be available?
Yes, a complimentary coat check will be available at the museum entrance.

What is the suggested attire? 
While there are no restrictions to attire, most guests tend to dress business casual. 

Do I need to eat prior to the event?
A robust selection of gourmet foods will be available and included in your ticket price. 

Will beer or other beverages be offered? 
While wine may be the star of the evening, there will be plenty of other beverages including beer, cider, seltzer, and non-alcoholic options. 

Where can I park? 
Paid parking is available at the Grand Rapids Public Museum.
