MAISD Superintendent calls it a career

After 40 years in the education field, the Superintendent of the Muskegon Area Intermediate School district is calling it quits.  Dave Sipka will retire at the end of June.  Today on WGVU Midday West Michigan, David Moore talks with him about his long  career.

U.S. economy gaining strength what could go wrong?
  July 30, 2014  |  WGVU  Friday, the government's July jobs report will be released. The June report showed the U.S. economy continues to gain strength. The Labor Department says hiring over the past five months is the strongest since the tech boom of the late 1990’s. In June, 288,000 jobs were added to the country’s workforce. With all the good news, what could possibly derail the expansion?

All-wood bat Michigan baseball league enjoys inaugural season
  July 30, 2014  |  WGVU  This year the Muskegon Clippers played its inaugural season at Marsh Field. The Clippers are members of the all-wood bat Michigan Summer Collegiate Baseball League made up of six teams from Holland, Grand Rapids and Detroit.
