Government shutdown prompts location change in top ArtPrize entries

Our partial federal government shutdown is rippling over to the ArtPrize competition. 

Two of the top ten entries that had been inside the Gerald R. Ford Museum have been moved outside so the public can continue to view them. 

Both Polar Expressed and Sleeping Bear Dune Lakeshore are now sheltered under a tent just outside the museum’s front doors. 

WGVU’s David Moore wondered what the *artists thought of the arrangement, and caught up with Ann Loveless, who put the sleeping bear quilt together.

One initiative expands a partnership with Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan.
