Preparing disadvantaged preschoolers for kindergarten

Patrick Center June 7, 2013 | WGVU Dr. Nkechy Ezeh is CEO of E.L.N.C. This week it added a sixth tuition-free preschool in Grand Rapids’ Roosevelt Park neighborhood. The vacant 6,200 square foot building is donated by Grand Rapids Public Schools which believes the return on investment is better educated students. The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, LINC Community Revitalization Inc., the Keller Foundation, Doug and Maria DeVos Foundation and a host of religious organizations are financially supporting and renovating the Roosevelt Park property.
