Some changes in store for a well known Grand Rapids landmark. The Blue Railroad bridge, linking the downtown area with Grand Valley State University’s Pew campus, is due for a total makeover.
That will likely mean a new color and eye catching LED lighting to replace the current stark incandescent bulbs.
Today on Midday West Michigan, David Moore chats with Grand Rapids City Historian Emeritus Gordon Olson for a whimsical look back at the importance of color and light in city landmarks.
No firm dates yet on when all this might start happening.
