Muskegon based firm helps pet parents cope with grief

When it comes to pet ownership, Americans lead the world.

The Humane Society of the United States reports we share our homes, apartments and condos with 78 million dogs and 86 million cats.

They hold a huge place in our lives, often as a sort of surrogate child-and losing one of them can leave us lost and grief stricken.

Jodi Clock is co-owner of Clock Timeless Pets in Muskegon, which helps humans deal with end-of-life issues for their animal companions.

Today on Midday West Michigan, she talks with WGVU’s own top dog-lover David Moore about the growing trend of hospice care for pets...
