50th Anniversary of John Steinbeck Nobel Prize

October 11, 2012 | WGVU  Chinese writer Mo Yan was awarded the Nobel Prize in literature today. The 57 Mo is renowned for blending magical realism into his fiction.

50 years ago John Steinbeck won the Nobel Prize for literature. Penguin books is celebrating by reissuing two of his most beloved books, "Travels with Charley: In Search of America" and "The Portable Steinbeck." Steinbeck scholar and director of the Center for Steinbeck Studies at the University of San Jose has written a new introduction to "The Portable Steinbeck." Muskegon officials team up to tackle chlamydia rates
  April 14, 2015  |  WGVU  High chlamydia rates in Muskegon County have prompted officials to take certain steps. One initiative expands a partnership with Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan.
