Kent County urging residents prepare for spring flooding

February 25, 2014 | WGVU  With nearly four feet of snow on the ground, temperatures well below normal for this time of year and the ground frozen solid, when the pattern breaks and temperatures climb conditions are ripe for flooding. Mix in rain and hydrologists fear the snow melt runoff could surpass West Michigan’s historic flooding of 2013.
