Why Midwest gasoline prices spiked when the price of oil has dropped?

May 16, 2012 | WGVU  Oil prices have been falling and there‚Äôs an assumption that should bring down the price of gas at the pump. Yet in the last day or two, the price at the corner station has gone up from an average of $3.69 a gallon to $3.86. Why the price increase?
