Violent crime spike in Grand Rapids but overall homicide and assaults down since 90's

January 16, 2013 | WGVU  Grand Rapids Police Chief Kevin Belk is calling on the community to help stop the city’s growing violence. During a press conference, Chief Belk talked about the city’s nine homicides, all of which have occurred since December 14th. WGVU’s Caroline MacGregor reports.
