Friday, Ann Romney visited west Michigan. One political scientist suggests that appearances by Mrs. Romney help the campaign gauge how much time and resources should be committed in a swing state where the incumbent holds the lead. It’s also an opportunity to persuade undecided seniors and women. Two groups who showed up in numbers in Hudsonville.
