February 11, 2013 | WGVU Caution was urged Monday, with crashes reported in the Ann Arbor area. Dozens of school districts canceled classes, in part due to icy roads. In Midland County, crashes were reported Sunday night.
Across the southern Lower Peninsula, the National Weather Service says wind gusts up to 45 mph are forecast. Gusts up to 50 mph are possible along Lake Michigan. The winds could knock down trees and push snow and ice from rooftops following earlier storms.
A flood warning is in effect through Wednesday afternoon for the Grand River in Ottawa County's Robinson Township following last week's ice jam-related flooding.
