Indoor Football Moves ThunderHawks To Grand Rapids

The West Michigan ThunderHawks will call Grand Rapids their new home for the next few years.
Officials from the Indoor Football League and the DeltaPlex announced Wednesday a multi – year deal that will move the former team Muskegon Thunder to Grand Rapids where they’ll become the Thunderhawks.
Rich Baylie is the executive director for the DeltaPlex and President for Stage and Light Entertainment.He says the team will offer a lot for the fans.
“We’re going to give them a venue to go to, that’s going to have an indoor football team.There’s going to be competition. They’re going to play other teams throughout America.There could be a championship next year. So, it’s really going to give spectators, visitors and West Michigan fans another option for entertainment.”
The Indoor Football League features 20 teams across the county and total of 14 regular season games between the months of March and June.
The team will make their Grand Rapids debut in March at the DeltaPlex.
