Judging in the Fourteenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest is complete!  We received almost 300 entries, and we enjoyed reading all of your stories.  Our first place winners in each grade level have been sent on to the national contest, where they will be judged against the winners from stations all over the country!  Congratulations to all of our winners!
 
The Prizes: Local winners will receive prizes courtesy of Schuler's Books & Music and a Reading Rainbow gift pack.

Second Prize: Flat panel TV and DVD player

Third Prize: MP3 Player

National winners will also receive three sets of 10 Reading Rainbow episodes on DVD and related feature books – a set for their home, school and community library.
