KATY ATCHISON

Katy Atchison is the Marketing and Social Media Manager for The Skye Group.  Katy has been involved with WGVU since 2007 when she worked at Michigan Medical, P.C. and they supported WGVU KidsDay at the Zoo. In addition, she has volunteered at many of our wine events, and has been part of the WGVU Engage Committee since its implementation in 2010.

She received her Master’s in Administration and Bachelor’s in Public Relations degrees from Central Michigan University (Fire up Chips!). She also volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association, American Cancer Society Relay for Life and was part for the Huntington Bank Rising Women’s Leaders Program as well as the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce Emerge Leaders series.

“I volunteer at WGVU and am a member of the Engage Committee because I believe in the value it brings to our community. And, I am proud to help build awareness about the positive contributions WGVU has on Grand Rapids and beyond,” Katy says.

In her spare time, Katy enjoys playing with her 5 year old niece, Maelyn, who is a little diva in training. And, she and her fiancé Nick, enjoy traveling to warm and tropical places.
