The Fifteenth Annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest is almost here! 

Children from kindergarten to third grade are encouraged to write and illustrate their own stories and enter them in this year’s contest. These stories will be judged locally and the first place winners submitted to the national contest.

How to Enter: Download a rules sheet and an entry form.  Once your story is complete, send it, along with your signed entry form, to:

All stories will be returned with a certificate of achievement from LeVar Burton.

 
The Prizes: Local winners will receive a gift card from Schuler’s Books and Music and a Reading Rainbow gift pack.

Second Prize: Flat panel TV and DVD player

Third Prize: MP3 Player
