WGVU is seeking a Major Gifts Coordinator to manage a portfolio of donors and prospects and will be responsible for actively cultivating, soliciting, closing, and stewarding gifts. This is an externally-focused position, working closely with donors and with WGVU leadership. Minimum of three years’ experience working with donors within the philanthropic community and a Bachelor’s degree are required. See our website at www.gvsujobs.org for a full description. This is an exciting opportunity to gain professional experience while adding to your portfolio and expanding your resume. Typical work tasks assigned to the successful candidate may include general Web site maintenance (editing content, updating links, uploading PDFs and images) add/edit events on the Web site calendar, PhotoShop image and graphic creation, general Web site, video players, and social media. WGVU Public Media is happy to work with students at the university/college level to achieve academic credit for the internship. This is an on-site opportunity with flexible hours.
